The system used for F Class standard takes into account (to some degree) the weather conditions prevalent
on any particular day as well as the range difficulty - because all scores usually used for grading are directly
related to THE TOP SCORE OF THE DAY irrespective of whether it is recorded by an A or B Grader.
Simply it is this --- ( say a 3 range shoot with 180 being the possible)
Shooter A scores---- 176 = 100% ( top score )
Shooter B scores-----176 =100% also
Shooter C scores-----173 = 98.295%-----------173/176 x 100 = 98.295%
Shooter D scores-----170 = 96.59%------------170/176 x 100 = 96.59%
Shooter E scores-----160 = 90.91%-------------160/176 x 100 = 90.91%
And so on:-
We use the last 8 prize meeting scores to arrive at the final average which is the average of the last 8 scores.
No cut outs. If 8 Scores are not available, as many as are available are used. The cut off point may be varied
from time to time by the Grading Officer in order to keep a reasonable balance between A and B Grades.
